Do you work with recovery-oriented support services or are you interested in learning more about SAMHSA’s Recovery Support Strategic Initiative (RSSI) and the Bringing Recovery Supports to Scale Technical Assistance Center Strategy (BRSS TACS) project? Join Recovery Month on May 30th from 1 – 2 p.m. EDT to share insights and experience for the Twitter conversation—“Partnerships and Collaboration: Recovery Services, Systems, and Support.”
RSSI, one of SAMHSA’s Eight Strategic Initiatives to reduce the impact of mental and substance use disorders, focuses on partnering with people in recovery and their families to promote recovery-oriented services and support. The BRSS TACS project was developed to implement these programs through working with key stakeholders to identify best practices and innovative programs and promote their adoption across the nation.
Chat co-hosts, Paolo Del Vecchio, Acting Director, Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) and Catherine Nugent, LCPC, Senior Public Health Analyst, CMHS, will answer questions and share their expertise about recovery-oriented services and support for people in or seeking recovery. They also will address how people in recovery and their families can work together to guide the behavioral health system across theUnited States.
Mark your calendars for May 30th and join the conversation by using the hashtag #RecoveryChat. I invite you to share any insights or experiences you have that relate to recovery support. Please feel free to express your thoughts in advance of the chat on the Recovery Month Facebook Page or email any questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
